i just dont think i have time in my life for a child. dont get me wrong i love kids i just think it would be wrong for me to have a child knowing that i would rather be doing something else with my time. i love to go out and hang out with my friends. most of my friends have children and i spoil them rotten. im already 25 years old. i dont want to be an old lady with a kid. my mom is young and we get along so well like friends and she is a good mom. i dont think my mom and my relationship have anything to do with it. and i just want to know what you think about this topic.

That is a decision you can only make for yourself and no-one has the right to tell you what you should do.
Also you are 25 years old and still have lots of time to think about that, and if you decide, even change your mind. Perhaps if you find a really terrific guy, whom you want to marry and decide to have his kids.
There are two things I'll give you to consider.
One, when you get old you may decide that you miss having someone close like your own son or daughter in your life. Then it will be too late to do anything about it.
Two. I have a brother who at age 50 decided he wanted to have some more kids (he had 2 girls from his first marriage). So, he got together with a 27 year old and they had two boys and another girl in the following 4 years.
He is very happy he's got them, and they are very happy to have him as their father. The girl, the youngest, just turned 21 and the two boys, one is going through college and the other just finished his degree at the Humboldt University.

Why have a child just because most others do?
If you don't want to, don't-enjoy life! I don't have children and have no desire to father any.
If you dig spoiling others' kids, fine-just don't deprive yourself while doing it (that's their REAL parents' job-LOL).
Don't know where you live nor is this a "come on", but I wish I coulda run into someone like you years ago who DIDN't want kids!

No, I don't think it's wrong to not want kids. Sometimes you just don't have it in you, and I think it's very good you recognize this. Don't let friends convince you to do it. Some people feel our soul purpose of being alive is to reproduce. I don't agree. Live your life, and be happy.

There is nothing wrong with not wanting to have children. There are a lot of people who don't want kids. You have make a decision that is good for you and your lifestyle.
