It seems obvious that he has some anti-Semitic feelings. But his father apparently believes the Holocaust didn't happen.
That's not an excuse, just an explanation. Most bigotry is learned from family.

Because of his actions? He mave have said some things he should not have, but remember he was drinking. I don't know of one person that drinks that does not occasionally have "loose lips" and let things slip. Nobody is perfect, everyone makes mistakes. Perhaps Mel should have just chose his words a little more carefully. Then again, perhaps the police should not have leaked certain info that had nothing to do with the crime!

Did you hear? A jew murdered him in jail about 10 minutes ago! He pissed himself and cried I heard!
Also, I AM a jew. The murderer was a psyco and im not being racist, the guy was just crzy and hurt by Mel.

i dont think so, simply because we are all so stupid when we are drunk, things like poitcal correctness and knowing the wrong and right things to say go out the window. It is unfair to brand him a racist because of what he said while pissed. havent the majority of us said dumb thing hurtfull things while intoxicated.
