Excellent question! I think they will talk about how he spread democracy thoughout the world, and how he wanted a "Culture of Life". Of course, this is hopefully going to be mentioned with the other stuff, like how he enjoyed going to war.....he promoted the death penalty and talked about innocent foriegn civilians dying like it was nothing. Oh yes, and how he was an excellent speaker. Not! They are gonna have a hard time painting a rosy picture of this one. Good luck to those writers.

Your question is an excellent one. More to the point may be, "Will our grandchildren read the truth about the greatness of George W. Bush, and his father, George H.W. Bush. You're very right that Martin Luther King was no saint, for sure, and yet the blacks hold him up as such, and many cities and towns have had to name one street or boulevard with his name, sad to say. The very same thing is true of the Revvvverrrrrannnnndddddddd Jesse Jackson, who is, . . . well, let's just say he certainly is no where near being a saint. But, will we be able to teach our grandchildren the truth about the greatness of the Bush family. Probably not, unless we get all the liberals out of our education processes and publication industries, and the likelihood of that happening is very slim to nil. We just have to flood our country's education and consciousness with the truth. We are living in the time of a great Presidency in George W. Bush, who, in the following of his father and President Ronald Reagan, has been able to keep this country solvent and respectable, despite the lapses into amoral waste in the Clinton years. God Bless you.

The Historian have a good track record of juging good and bad (especially the farther they get from the time of the subject). Probably because the subject gets judged on the merits of his actions in his field, rather than the passions of the time. For instance, King is measured for hs work in the civil rights movement (his womanizing is acknowledged as a human failing, but not what we should take away as the most important thing about his life).
GW Bush fails in his field as a president on almost every level. Unless there is a huge turnaround in Iraq, the economy, ethics, public opinion, etc. he will go down as one of (if not THE) worst presidents in history.

Sorry to report but with the introduction of computers and this being the information age. It is only a very short time when the world will have nuclear capabilities. They are sucide bombers.
That tells me that they don't care if they destroy everything on the earth. That coupled with global warming.
Our great grandchildren will never have time to grow up and be anything or read anything. What we are learning in school right now is pointless. Children will never grow up and use it.

They will learn what the education board wants them to know. Since the education board is a branch of the government, they most likely will not learn the truth.
