If there were 360 days in a year and you get paid once a month,
Assume 1 month = 30 days,
You will get paid 360/30 = 12 times a year.
This means you will get 1 check a month.
However, some companies issue 2 checks per month, it all depends on the payroll of the company concerned.

Well, there are 365 days in a year, and can you assume there are 12 months because if you lived in a place with only 360 days in a year it isn't using the same calendar we use.
Additionally, if you assume there are either 360 days but still 12 months you only get 1 check every 30 days. Once a month means once every 30 days assuming a month is 30 days.

Right, there are 365 days on a clear year and 366 days on a leap year. You get you checks every 30 days in September, April, June and November; 28 or 29 on February and 31 days for the rest. You only get 1 check a month.

Yes. I question math all the time.
Math Hallucinations are going on all around us.
There are 365 days in a year, 12 months, not all of them have the same number of days. You get a check once a month. There are 12 months in a year. That's 12 checks. You get paid according to the monthly calendar, not the number of days.

two checks every thirty days is the same as twice a month. If you get paid once a month It is most likely on the first or fifteenth. Days that are guaranteed each month.

If you get paid once a month, say on the 1st of each month, then you will get 12 checks in that one year.

No, typically you get a check every two weeks. So, some months, your getting an extra paycheck, especially if you budget your money assuming 2 checks per month. The extra money is nice!
