Ok, you can either right click on your internet explorer icon (on your desktop) and select properties or you can simply look at your menu bar at the top of this screen and click on Tools, then internet options.

Either way will bring up the Internet Options panel. From here you are going to click "Delete cookies", then click "Delete files" (make sure to delete all offline content) and then click "Clear history"

If you did not see these options then make sure you are on the General tab in internet options.

This is the most thorough and easy way to erase your tracks.

Another easy way is to simply stop visiting websites that you would be embarassed for your parents to see ;)

In tools, internet options, first clear the history (in the general tab), then also change your autocomplete information (you find that in the content tab, and the when you enter the autocomplete make sure that there is no check in the web addresses)

It depends on the browser.

Firefox: Click "Tools", "Options", "History" tab. Click the button for "Clear Browsing History Now".

Internet Explorer: "Tools", "Internet Options", "General" tab, Click the button "Clear History".

While you're at it, you also want to clear your cache and downloaded files. You'll also need a program like "eraser" or "privacy protector" to erase your Index.dat file.

I wish you peace.
