Depends on how he dies, Don't make him a martyr and don't make him a hero. Make him a friend and remember wizards never die.

NONONONO i cryed enough when dumbledore died it would just b way 2 depressing if harry died i mean i no shes planning on killing off 2 charictors so that no 1 will b able 2 do a spin off series which kinda makes it obvious that harry is going 2 die but still killing harry would b the meanest thing jk could do

It would save any future copyright/write issues for Rowling if she kills him off. No one would be able to come up with another story-line years down the line and possibly ruin all the work that JK has put into her series.

Personally, I'd like to see seven more books, but... All good things must come to an end sometime.

No, I do not think so! The best final would be if Harry became the new owner of the Hogwarts school. And all of his students would live in peace and harmony, ever and after.

I think it would keep others from trying to publish sequels but in a magical world, anything is possible right? I mean he could end up as a hogwarts ghost and continue the story that way so it doesn't matter.

No he's not going to die. He dosent know his parents, his friends are his family. There would not be any point killing him. He is going to live after the final book, they are surposed to be for kids after all you cant kill the main character in a kids book!
