The word ***** comes from *******, which is an African descent. All the Latin and Spanish in the world will never change that. Oh yes, Spanish is called the romantic language.

Joining this uninteresting conversation causes me to sigh. It is an issue that will not cause you to be fed when you hunger. I believe history books make all these issues as clear as the skies over England.( they are certainly not clear)

The first slave traders coined the term. Spain had productive sugar cane plantations in Cuba and Hispaniola since the first years of the sixteenth century. They imported, better described, abducted African inhabitants and transported them to do slave labor in the plantations.

As Cortes conquered Mexico, much of the productive population died as a result of a smallpox outbreak, and since the Spaniards claimed that the "Indians" were to weak to do heavy works, they increased the slave trade. At this point, many English ships were involved, and since the demand in the New World came from Spanish speaking areas, the name ***** became widely used.

By the time the mayflower came to American coasts, the slave trade was almost 100 years old. And it took at least another 50 years for the American colonies to become fully involved in the slave trade.

Before the discovery of the new world, few Europeans had seen an African. And they were referred to as moors, Saracens, or Egyptians.

All humans naturally want to categorize things, and that includes people. The problem with this classification system is that it leaves out many groups of people with ethnic features that do not fall into any of the requirements for falling into these racial categories. Also, within each of these racial categories, there are many different ethnic variations. Examples of this are many. East Indians, Semitic peoples, Slavic people, Germanic people, etc. are all caucasian but they are quite different in physical appearance.

Newsflash for you: there are languages in the world besides English! In many Latin-based languages, the word for the color black is similar to or the same as "*****". That is precisely where the term comes from.

It's actually spelled "*****," which is the Spanish word for the color black. Thus, calling blacks "negroes" is just calling them black in another language.
