I mean, don't call me a peace-loving liberal, but can't we sort of get along? I know that we have different opinions, but neither of our opinions are ultimatley, truly, indefinitley correct. I think that this may come down to the science between the ways that boys and girls treat each other during early adolescence. It's possible that all liberals and conservatives are mean to each other because we all crushes on each other!!
Did you ever think of that?

Now that you mention it, I've never seen an attractive conservative girl in my entire life. They all seem to be lacking in the personal-hygiene department.

No, cannot say I've ever been attracted to a conservative.... I like to have fun and be a free spirit, conservatives would hold me back!

Hahaha, no attractive Republican women. Cute.

ANYWAYS, I'm a pretty "hardcore Republican", however I have several good friends who are "liberal hippies" and we pick on each other all the time, but we're still great friends. My favorite person in the entire world is a Democrat, so yes although we disagree it doesn't mean we can't still get along.

Oh, and I don't think we're mean to each other because we have crushes... I think those who are old enough to know what political party they side with are also old enough to find better ways of showing affection.

No way, it's just the liberals are playing with half a deck. Can't solve problems or make since with half a deck. And the Conservatives that use to be in Congress and the President have no balls to lead and protect our country from Islamic fascists and the illegal invaders. Bush has turned out to be a globalist and moved to close to the liberal side. Basically everyone sucks.

Not likely and expect it go get worse. First they belong to the same church. The one that preaches that we are too stupid to make decisions for ourselves so each of them want to tell us what to do. Therein lies the division.

Being part of the same church, means they reserve the hatred of the heretic for each other.

When this country was founded it was based on limited government. In a limited government it doesn't really matter who is in control, the limits on government power mitigate any potential damage. However, as government becomes less and less limited and power ever more centralized it becomes more and more important to be in power.

Eventually if this trend is not reversed it will be so important it can't be left to elections but will be settled by civil war.

No, I am a liberal and would much rather be with a liberal girl. They are more adventurous if you know what I mean.

no, I don't think so. I think it's an expression of the frustration they feel with one another's viewpoints.
