I am thinking about buying a Scion Tc. Are they good vehicles? Do they get good mileage?

The Scion tC coupe offers a lot of features for the money, like a dual-panel sunroof. The tC is powered by a spirited 160-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, with the choice of a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic. Handling is fairly nimble but isn't sporty. The ride is pleasant. The poorly designed radio controls have been improved on 2006 models. The rear seat is relatively spacious for a small coupe, and the seatbacks can recline for passenger comfort. The hatchback body style increases versatility. Head-curtain air bags are optional. A pricey dealer-installed supercharger improves acceleration without sacrificing too much fuel economy.
Fuel economy is rated very good and CR observed an overall 26 MPG in their test car.
CR has given their recommendation for the Scion tC.

I am absolutely in love with my scion TC....... it was a great buy for the price which is what alot of people say. There are few thigns that i dont like about it, the seats could be a lil softer, but they have these "racing" seats, which are cool looking, and VERY easy to keep clean. mostly what i love about my car are the looks i get when i zoom by. : ) i get tons of compliments on it, and it didnt break my wallet. i love it and hope to keep it for a long time. Check out edmunds.com, its got tons of reviews on the TC....

The tC is a babe of a car. every thing about it is Toyota and Toyota is meant to last and run well. you will find your self in good hands with this car. I drive it my self and just love the feel of the ride. The only thing I am not pleased with is how it handles at certain speeds, however in the US you will not run into this problem. ;)

i drive an xB, but those that drive the tC totally rave about it. you can visit www.scionlife.com, which is an enthusiasts forum. you can get opinions from people who own tC already. good luck!

Spend the extra money and get an ACURA RSX. Even better, go for a Honda Civic SI.
