Can i use my Cingular Sliver with Verizon? If its unlocked?

NO you cannot use it with verizon, but GSM is better than CDMA. It allows you to use your phones internationally. Majority of carriers internationally all use GSM. CDMA is older and less sophisticated technology. You can use the sliver with tmobile. Only cingular and tmobile use GSM in the united states. Hope this helps!

Unfourtuneately...No. Verizon uses a much more advanced technology called CDMA. Yes you can port your number but you would first need to purchase one of their phones. Verizon will be coming out with a VCAST Music Slivr that is half the size of the cingular one in the middle of 2007. PS. Cingular Uses a technology called GSM. It encounters a few more dropped calls and echoing while talking to people.
