IT is part of their culture, no big deal. When someone saves you from being eaten by a Polar Bear, you go to bed with them to say , Thanks. When someone saves you from washing to sea on an ice flo, you go to bed with them to say "Thanks." It makes no difference if the savior is male or female, the savee is female or male. What you do NOT do in the culture is save someone from a Polar bear and go to bed with the Bear..that is taboo.
