I know what you mean. In the Extenze commercials, they never actually say... PENIS. They say things like, "That certain part of the man's body".
It sounds so phony if they can't use proper terminology.

Because the general public is still squeamish about the whole subject. It can only be discussed well camouflaged with innuendo, double entendre and telling glances, and euphemisms.
Notice how the female hygiene maxi-pads and other products are demonstrated using BLUE ink? Red would be just too obvious.
