It is a very broad subject

It would be extremely unethical for you to pay someone to do your essay for you, and it could get you kicked out of college.

I can only suggest that you may want to look at the works of a single artist, such as Michelangelo or (probably a better choice)GIOTTO (Ambrogio Bondone, detto). A narrow focus will help you get more in depth about your topic, and will be a better paper.

Another Avenue you may wish to pursue is the many versions of Madonna and Child throughout history. It is an extremely common subject, and you could use it to show the progression of style from way back to now.

good luck!

Consider researching on these lines:

Up until the 1800s, the vast majority of Europeans were illiterate. That means that they could not be taught the Church's teachings by being given reading assignments. This is why many old European churches are so heavily decorated with sculptures, paintings, and so on. Art was used to provide "visual aids" for helping illiterate peasants visualize and remember stories from the Bible or from the lives of the saints. Medieval priests would commonly make reference to the images surrounding them during their sermons. Living without access to words, most people understood the wider world through art alone. That might be why people used to respond so much more passionately to art; it was their tv and books and video games!

This might give you a good opportunity to discuss specific pieces of religious art that you especially like. Good luck on your essay, whatever topic you choose.

Been a long time since I was in school, but have you considered using the Da vinci code as a guide? I havent seen the recent movie, but I did read the book. There is so much about how art was influenced by religion back in Da Vinci's day.

Take a look & see what you think.

Good luck!

I would need to know specifically what are you trying to write about. Are you referring to the architecture like the large ornamented gothic cathedrals that were built or artwork that was painted like that of Michael Angelo's in the Sistine chapel or Leonardo da vinci's Last Supper? Think about the many versions of paintings of Madonna and Child. Also the illuminated manuscripts in Northern Europe. During the Renaissance, the purpose of artwork served for depicting religious scenes/events.

*You must choose certain aspects to focus on. Perhaps compare the different time periods or cultures or parts of a region (how artwork compares/contrasts) or give examples of how religious art is depicted in a variety of mediums (i.e. sculptures, paintings, architectures, pottery, effigies, etc.)

I'm not a professional essay writer but did you know Vincent Van Gogh at one point was a lay preacher in Borinage? Lots of material and research done on Van Gogh and should be an easy essay to write.

I am not a professional writer, however I wanted to suggest using Frida Khalo as a research starting point. She was married to Diego Rivera, a huge figure in the political scene at the time.
Hope this helps. Good luck.

Mike J : Seriously...Can't you go somewhere else to bug people? Homework to do? Post more ?'s regarding ball size, etc...? C'mon, dude.
