Is this a question??? Are you thinking you are pregnant? No, probably not, since the test was negative. You could always take another test.

Hey Mike? let a girl handle this one, k sweetie?

Jessica,
First of all, you should definitely go to see your OB or even just down to the local Women's Clinic, they usually do check ups for a small fee or even for free. Before you go here are a few pointers to think about:

There a few other reasons your period might be late (other than pregnancy). One of the major things that can delay is stress. Think about it. Have you had anything really important going on this month or maybe an important or exciting event? Sometimes you're body is more stressed than you think if you haven't been eating or sleeping right, or if you have been sick recently. Has your cycle ever been irregular before? If you're not one of those girls who can usually predict the very day of your next period, then you're also more prone to missed periods, whether stress or health induced.

As far as your pregnancy test, they often give false negatives. I know first-hand so trust me on this one! If you ARE pregnant I'm gonna guess you know in your gut already. But just to make sure. I took a test like weekly, for about a month, always negative- but i could've sworn i was pregnant. then i took a test like three days after the last one and it was finally positive. You should do it first thing in the morning when you first go to the bathroom, and then do a re-test the next morning if you plan on doing it at home. I was almost 6 weeks before it showed up on any test so make sure.

From what you re saying about the cramps it is also possible. During your first trimester you often get cramps around the time your period should have been, you just don't have an actual period, sometimes just a tiny bit of pink spotting. i don't know if this is your first possible pregnancy. But the very first one often "spontaneously aborts". That is, miscarries, within the first 6 weeks. mine did and i have learned it is quite common. Sorry if this is overwhelming. Just want to give you some info to consider before you start freaking out!

Good Luck ♥

I'm in the same boat for another test. They are 99.9% accurate, and it very well could be that you just missed a period. It happens to even the most regular of us, especially if you're stressing about the situation. If you're having a hard time trying to relax, then go to a local clinic/center/doctor/etc. and talk to a professional about your concerns. More often than not, the worry is worse than the reality.

Wait a few more days, re-test. If it comes back Neg, and your period hasnt arrived, i'd go to the DR.

I would either retake a pregnancy test again or see your doctor. That is totally what happened to me, and I was pregnant. The cramps might be your uterus thickening the lining because you are now pregnant.

Hi there. I still had period pains whilst newly pregnant. Your question was 5 days ago. Have you re-taken the test?

Sounds like me with my daughter...the test was wrong and the doc said the cramping was the baby implanting into the womb...go to the doctor and get them to test you

It is possible for you to be pregnant, despite of the cramps. The cramping that you could be feeling if you are indeed pregnant, is your uterus expanding and it has a tendancy to feel like you are cramping.
