Stick the hook thru one end of the worm, push it up on the hook about an inch so it doesn't fall off too easily. It's best not to have the tip of the hook showing, the fish will bite to it.

depends on the type of worm you are useing and the type of hook. i prefer nightcrawlers on a medium sized hook.everyone has thier own way of putting it on the hook but as long as it stays on the hook while you are casting the line and doesnt fall off in the water then i would say that its the right way. just hold one end tightly as you put it the hook and keep pushing it on tiil the hook is covered and all the worm is on the hook. good luck and hope you catch a big one.

First make sure that the hook is as sharp as possible. I usually pass the hook through the side of the bait and thread back and forth to form small 'loops' that wriggle about. Also you could try leaving some 'bare ends' that dangle off the hook. Basically, if you are catching fish it's the right way.
