o.k. I know this is going to sound weird but I have asthma too, anyways they say that chocolate is suppose to help, also coffee, green bell peppers, hot steam like when you are doing the dishes or taking a shower. also if you don't have a script, then the second to last resort would be primematine mist..(it does not work for me that well) or The very last is the e.r. room, trust me you do not want to go to the e.r. I've been to the e.r. many times myself for asthma and they didn't really help plus it cost's a lot, especially If you don't have insurance..
p.s. if you ever get to that point where you can't stand it ask to borrow a friend's script 4 like a puff or two... I know it's not legal but if it will help you from having an asthma attack then so be it. right?
good luck. I hope you get the answer you were looking for.

My brother is an asthmatic and after ten years his asthma has shown no sign of improving. He has been to several doctors but they didn't help much.
If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

Try getting a different script. Are you on a scheduled inhalor (where you take it so many times a day) or using an emergency inhalor? If you don't have an emergency inhalor, you might want to try getting one. Breathing exercises might help, but you'd need to speak to a professional about it.

you definitely need to be re-examined by your doctor.
if you are using your emergency inhaler more than 1-2 times per week then you need to change your medication.
if you are only using an emergency inhaler (ie. salbutamol/ventilin) then you need to find out whether adding a long-acting steroid inhaler would help, or a combination of both
I am currently on Symbicort...it is AMAZING!!

See your doctor and get a daily medicine to help control your asthma. I take Singular and it helps.
