You can probably get some by making the right choices, sometimes in difficult situations.
You cannot steal them or chisel them off other people. If you tried to steal scruples or virtue, you would risk getting the mirror image of the scruples and you would thus be going backwards.

Scruples R Us. seriously, scruples is nothing more than morals. to know right from wrong and make the decision to do the right thing. to be truthful. surely, you have some of those qualities

No, seriously -- such moral codes as the Ten Commandments are helpful. When they seem too easy to break, put yourself in the position of the person who's being done wrong. It may be easier to use self-control when you imagine yourself being badly treated in a similar way.
