Toss up between Dustin Hoffman and Jessica Lange in "Tootsie" and "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" with Steve Martin and John Candy. (Did you know this second one has made the top 10 list of Christmas movies to watch?) I liked watching Dustin Hoffman take on the impossible and do a better job than most female performers could have. The other one was just plain silly, but I had to keep watching just to see what would happen next.

I like comedies because they take my mind off my dismal life. I never watch movies made from books--they're never as good.

Both of the Kill Bill movies. I never really liked Tarantino movies until I saw Vol. 1. The story was compelling (a woman comes back from the brink of death and uses her past life as an assassin to take revenge on those who did her wrong). Also, I just think Uma Thurman was a total bad a$$!

My favorite film is Vertigo. It's an incredible artistic masterpiece, masterfully-arranged and richly textured, and the visionary Alfred Hitchcock's most profound and personal work. It is a tale of love, death, guilt and obsession, and it features highly inventive and creative camera angles, surreal and dream-like cinematography, vibrant San Francisco scenery, a hauntingly-beautiful and unconventional musical score from the legendary composer Bernard Herrmann, and a frightening, career-best performance from the terrific actor James Stewart.
