I've been watching "Frasier" re-runs. Have they ever explained how Niles and Frasier's mom - a psychiatrist - married a beat cop?

actually, yes, they did, but to the life of me i can't remember it. keep this question open for a day or two and i'll ask a friend who is a frasier fanatic. if she remembers the episode, i'll update you. as far as i can remember, it was explained in one of the episodes when the brothers and dad all went to a cabin---there were several episodes in that setting.
