not me.I'm light skinned. my mother is a cocoa brown color and my father is black like tar.I'm way lighter than my siblings-all of us have diff. daddies. My mother said i get my color from my grandfather whose idian and irish. My father's family act like i don't exist, they don't do anything for me, nor call,nor say hi.I think becuase i don't look like them casue they are darkskinned,short, and ugly.I'm 5'6, light skinned, and have very light brown reddish hair. Now with that, Do yall look like ya parents???

No My dad's side is Irish. Very light skin, black hair, some have blond, all blue-eyed, small and sorta stocky. My mom side are tall and slender, olive skin and dark haired and dark eyes. I am average and small built, red haired and hazel eyes with freckles and very curly hair. My brothers all have blond hair but one whose hair is dark auburn. All of them are various sizes and builts and out of 7 no one looks similar except the twins

All my life (I'm 58) I was told that I was the image of my father. I saw a recent snapshot of me and even I thought it was my father's picture.

I read somewhere long ago that all children at one years old resemble their fathers. Not sure how factual that is.

You sound like there are "issues" in your family. I hope things work out for you. If it's important to know, my sister is four shades lighter than I am.

Everyone tells me that I look like my dad, some people tell me that I look like my mom and other people ask if me and ,my sister are twins..
I dont think that I look like any of them, but that is just my opinion. Sorry that yo dads family dont do nothin for you. It is there loss though..so dont sweat it sometimes you are better off that way..Keep ya head up

I look more like my mother everyday! In recent pix, I can see a resemblance to my maternal grandmother, a resemb I'd never noticed before. I'd always thought my mom and I looked like her dad. And my daughter grew to my height (5ft) and just plain stopped there. Plus, we were recently sent emails of a picture of my deceased dad's oldest sister - whom we'd never seen or seen pix of before -- and my daughter looks very much like her! I love genetics
