You don't say what position you are trying to sleep in.
Why don't you try laying on your side, either side, and have some extra pillows on hand. Those big long ones..king size or body pillows are wonderful, but you'll also need a smaller one too.
Put a long one along your back so you can "rest" back on it if you need to, but you won't really be all the way on your back. Use the other big one in front of you so your upper arm can rest along it and it has some support and doesn't crush your chest/breasts. The small pillow you put between your knees (actually have it by your thighs to your knees)...this supports your hips.
You're hips are getting "soft" (meaning the joints are more elastic so that they can seperate when you are giving birth so the baby comes out easier); however, until that time they can really hurt when you are walking too much or standing too much. It can even hurt depending on how you sit! By putting that pillow there, it gives some support for them since they've spread some already.
At this point you need to be resting some through the day too. Sleep will be hard to get and if you can catch a few winks here and there it will help. You're body will appreciate you not standing and walking too!
I had the same problems and when I told my doc, he was the one telling me how to put the pillows (he actually had me lay on my side in the office to show me how to do it, but there were not "body pillows" then!). Even on that uncomfortable table, it felt good with the pillows so I could just imagine how it was going to be at home! And it was...it was the only way for me to lay from then on.
Try not to lay on your back. It cuts off the circulation to your legs and can cause all kinds of pains.
Good luck!
Almost fogot...the peeing is due to the baby dropping or pushing on your bladder more. She's bigger and takes up more room.

Many expectant parents know how hard it might be to get a good night's sleep in the months that follow the birth of their child, but who would have guessed that catching some ZZZs during pregnancy would prove to be so difficult?
What to Do When You Can't Sleep
Of course, there are bound to be times when you just can't sleep. Instead of tossing and turning, worrying that you're not asleep, and counting the hours until your alarm clock will go off, get up and do something: read a book, listen to music, watch TV, catch up on letters or email, or pursue some other activity you enjoy. Eventually, you'll probably feel tired enough to get back to sleep.
And if possible, take short naps (30 to 60 minutes) during the day to make up for lost sleep. It won't be long before your baby will be setting the sleep rules in your house, so you may as well get used to sleeping in spurts!

Hello
The reason you are feeling the urge to pee all the time is that the baby is on your bladder. theres no room in there anymore. I would say from experience the reason you are sore is from walking too much, and for the baby putting pressure on your bones and muscles. You do get very uncomfortable those last few weeks. Just try to stay positive reassuring yourself it will all be over in a few weeks. I had a hard time sleeping the last few eeks as well. My doctor said I could take a benadryl to help me sleep. She said antihistamine is ok to take. Ask your doctor and see if thats ok with him/her. I just had my little on in March so the symptoms you are describing are familiar ones. Good luck.

I remember those days.... You'll be getting even less sleep when the baby gets here. I really feel for you. Have you tried a pillow between your knees when you sleep? Can you take a warm bath after you've been on your feet for a long time? The only way to know if the baby has dropped is if your stomach has dropped, it's very obvious. Good luck, take care.

Congrats!! Yes, everything you are experiencing is normal and the baby may have dropped. You have to just get used to peeing all the time right now, but for the sleep problem, you can try sleeping in a recliner if you have one. That worked for me. If not elevate yourself on pillows if you can. Try a pillow between your knees too!

Let me start of by saying congrats.i had the same problem when i was pregnant i couldn't sleep during my last months it's normal it's just your anxious and as far as walking it's very good do plenty i did that and believe it or not it makes the birth of the baby a lot easier and the pains you are feeling can be a sign of contractions.i got my sign of early contractions when i was 4 months pregnant.and when your pregnant it's normal to pee all the time sometimes even after giving birth you pee all the time my advice it's normal don't worry when you go to your doctor just inform him or her until then just take it easy and good luck

Yup I remember that incredible back pain. It is hard to sleep especially if you usually sleep on your stomach (like me). She is getting ready to be born so her dropping is a good thing. My son didn't drop enough so I ended up having a C-Section. But what you are going through is normal and you are almost there! Hang in there. Good luck, and congrats :-)

The best way to get sleep when you are pregnant is sleeping on your left side if your still having trouble then try your right side but with all three of my pregnacies it was all different to get comfortable. It depends on the baby too. If you can move the baby so you can get comfortable. gentley push on your belly and it will move
GOOD LUCK!!!

Yes, the last few weeks of pregnancy is not fun. Try to sit in a recliner, if you have one. Or, put a pillow between your legs, that seemed to help me. You might not want to do a lot of walking at this stage.
