There may be a fungus amongus, growing on your toes. I doubt it, its probably just chlorine and the abrasive nature of the pool finish.

It would be unusual to get a burning after one dip in the pool and not notice anything else. Usually with athletes foot you have burning itching and redness and maybe cracking in between the toes that have been there for a while. Use Mycelex spray for athletes foot. If it doesn't work see the doctor.

Is the pool bottom covered in plaster? Were you walking a lot in the pool? A lot of people get blisters from walking a lot in a rough-surfaced, pool bottom.
