Violence in the home - abused women and children, and the men who abuse them.

The fact that most of people you see on television in New Orleans that are still complaining were on welfare to begin with. Most of their housing and food and everything else was paid by the taxpayers, so why do they feel they have the right to complain because they aren't given more. Why can't they get off the lazy behinds and work like the rest of us?

The fact that President Clinton totally ignored the massacre of almost a million people in Africa when he was President, and when it finally was brought to light, said "I'm Sorry, we should have done more"
Also that Einstein said you would "look" like you were travelling through time if you went faster than the speed of light, because it the light you would reflect back to those watching you would take longer to get to them, because you are literally traveling faster than the light. It's not some strange phenomenon, just freakin common sense to me.

Why is it that you need a license to practice law, medicine, and teach in a public school...but teachers are paid less than sanitation workers in some counties in the US?
This says some scary things about the priorities of a nation.

The plight of the people of Haiti. Most people there live on under $300 US a year. Violence, poverty, unemployment, no industry to speak of, years of bad, corrupt government. New government in place, trying to battle all of this. UN peacekeepers not enough.
