You're already on the Internet, so give backstage.com a try. Some of their audition notices are for subscribers only, but you'll probably find enough listings in the free section to keep you occupied.

Buy a copy of Backstage newspaper. You can find it at large newstands and stores, in Los Angeles and Hollywood.

I second the recommendation for Back Stage West, as well as Craig's List online.
