It is called "IV" or intravenous administration. You also have "subcutaneous" which is an administration under the skin.

the synovial fluid must be frozen for 5 days then thawed.then frozen again for 2 weeks before it is effective and ready for use.it must be kept in an air tight bottle or else the procedure must be done again.the exposure to oxygen ruins the core strands of the synovial.therefore,mutation is likely to occur & not recommended.

but u can check -

by the way i cant answer the other question but here is my answer - it may help
intragluteal injections include -
depo-provera, net-en, octreotide acetate, sandostatin LAR, also insulin (in emergencies) some chemo theraphy drugs.

i have been dealt 2 in my life time - depo- provera and one for costochondritis
basically its injected in the butt. because the butt tends to have more muscle than other parts of the body.
