I would think it would depend upon your figure and what feels comfortable on you.

Lol...sounds like you're as picky as i am about this. I wear the longer shirts that seem to be really popular and in season right now (the ones that are narrow and fit your figure) and then i ALWAYS wear lowrise jeans. I almost always have to wear a belt cause my pants don't ever want to seem to stay up on me when i kneel down at work (not trying to flash the world my thong...lol). Sometimes if the shirt is long enough, i go without a belt since no one can see anything, and it makes the shirt look better. It seems when i wear a belt with a long shirt , the belt sticks up through my shirt and that bugs me...lol. Gotta get that "just right" length shirt, and then buy a ton of them.

Try a lower rise jean... not super low because they can be hard to wear belts with. Try something new... if you don't NEED a belt with jeans, don't wear one. And wear more of the other accessories. You could also get one of those large belts that you just let hang loose on your waist over a longer shirt. Don't be afraid to try new things. I know you might feel wierd not wearing a belt, but that is what the styles are like now! =)

low rise and wear a belt and then sort of tuck in the front of your shirt a little bit under your belt so people can see your belt.

in view that wearing flamboyant clothing that screams "i'm gay" is a particular thanks to entice adverse interest in certain settings which include severe college, i could propose dressing to fit in. till you want getting beat up, in which case the rainbow stud belt, plaid Bermuda shorts, and so on, could truly do the trick. as a lot as you.

I say low-rise, but not so your butt crack is showing. I totally hate that. It's very tacky and shows poor taste.
