Typically you need to get a new license in the jurisdiction in which you are doing business.
That being said, the procedures shouldn't be all that different from what you've already gone through.
In some states, they have a "full faith and credit" system, whereby they fast-track you for a license in your new state based on the fact that you have a license in good standing from another state. I cannot say this is necessarily true in TX, or if it is true for hair stylists. But it is worth asking when you apply.

I don't think you can to work but you can buy products from a beauty supply in any state.You can get your La license i think you may have to test,if the hours of school are the same.
