If you do not check a company before entering into a transaction,
you could lose your money, time and credibility. Some widely used resources are the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) and the national fraud center ( www.fraud.org) These days, you can easily find out more about a company using the internet in a few minutes. From a company's website, you can get details about its ownership how old the company really is and feedback from the company's customers. You can find more, detailed information about a company at http://tinyurl.com/gtb89

With a computer at home and internet connection, you can start earning from home, without any investment. You should choose your work at home job according to your skills and time available.
If you have a good typing speed, general and legal transcription jobs from companies like Mountain West, Tigerfish and Accutran are available. Some of these companies do not require any experience.
You can apply directly from their websites which are listed at
http://tinyurl.com/o65rb
Medical transcription work at home is also available if you have completed a course and have relevant experience.

Not going to happen unless you go to work for a company that allows you to telecommute/work remotely(most major corporations have some kind of flex time plan that allows for a certain amount of telecommuting depending on your position.)
The only surefire non-scam home business is the one you start yourself.

depends on what you're doing. If your talking about marketing your own thing (like maybe you sew or something) you can probably have supplies and materials donated. But mostly you have to be willing to put something out before something rolls in.
Places like those ones that have you stuff envelopes or things like that, they just want to recover any costs that might accrue just in case you don't return the materials, that's why they ask for money up front. They have to pay for those materials before they send them to you, and if you don't send them back, they're arsed out of the money, so their thinking is "you pay for the materials and if you don't send them back, you're out the money, but if you do send them back, then they pay you for the labor."

Honestly, you have to spend money to make money.
No matter what. Of course you need inventory or supplies to make, or do something. And most importantly, marketing. You might get away from having a home job with no money upfront, but who will know about you when you don't have money to advertise? Get my drift?
