how can i find out if a company is ligit?

PREMIERE MODELING CORP is the name of the company.
is there some kind of website i can go to to find this info out or number i can call?

that's the website for the Better Business Bureau. Even if it is ligit, the website could tell you whether this company has had any complaints against them and what the company did to resolve the problem.

Call your local Chamber of Commerce and/or Better Business Bureau. Every city has one!
