Bin Laden is George Bush's Boogey man. When Bush gets caught taking away our freedoms or invading our privacy Bush uses Bin Laden as an excuse.
LET THE SCARE TACTICS BEGIN!!! Bush needs Bin Laden to scare America into giving up freedoms under "national security". Bush and the Neo-Cons are using Bin Laden to grab votes.
They'll try to convince America that they need to be voted into office to protect us. The Neo-Cons will try to scare us to accomplish their goals. And if you have nothing to be scared about, They'll be more then happy to give you some.
When election time rolls around expect to see the terror alert system make a come back. Expect Bin Laden to conveniently release a tape election time.

I didn't read all the way though, but you are right in one regard. It will take time to determine if the Iraq War was good or bad for the USA. It will take at least a decade after we leave to fully understand everything and the impact caused. Those who state they know now know nothing about history, and only talk to hear themselves talk.
