I use MSN, but I use Trillian and not the MSN Messenger client. Trillian is compact, ad free, no tabs, simple to use and set up. Works with Yahoo Messenger, AIM as well.

None because the danger of online predators and if I want to talk to someone I will call them instead. PLUS the program runs in the "background" hogging valuable system resources and therefore slowing/bogging down the computer

I like using Yahoo Messenger because it is really customizable.I never tried tose others you listed though.

in case you have your website set to "buddies only" then only your acquaintances can see it, wether you communicate over with different human beings on the IM or no longer. So there is your answer. :) As for deleting the messenger if youm nevertheless choose to, click on your "start up" menu, circulate to "Settings" and "administration Panel". click on "upload or eliminate courses" and seek for MySpace IM and click "eliminate".
