Gatorade was created in 1968 by the University of Florida. Not sure about the parent company but I just got my new machine installed about an hour ago. It is freakin awesome. My favorite is probably the Riptide Rush. Or just Grape.
Plus Gatorade has the added bonus of keeping you hydrated while boozing it up. Have a glass of Gatorade every 30 minutes while boozing and you will wake up in the morning without a hangover.

Early summer 1965 the University of Florida Came up with Gatoraid. The original lemon lime is most popular and I like the red fruit punch flavor, Second is orange. It must have ben sold after that date I would guess 1968

1978. I don't have a fav flavour they all taste great the main reason they have little sugar and low calories.
