Exactly how many weeks were you? Also, was the image of the baby clear (were you certain about the sex)?

With my first baby I had an ultrasound at 16 wks. I found out he was a boy and it sure was clear. You could see EVERYTHING. There was no mistaking it. I had another sono at 20 weeks and again very clear. I don't know about girls but boys are so easy to tell. Once you see it, you know it's a boy.

i had an ultrasound at 22 weeks and they said it was probably a girl, the picture of the baby was really clear, but i wasnt satisfied with the answer so i got one of those 3D ultrasounds at 27 weeks and they said 100% it was a girl, and the image was sooo clear you could see her eyes open!

I was 16 weeks when the ultrasound showed that I was having a boy. The image was very clear, there was no doubt. He was mooning us at the time. :-)

I found out when I was 24 weeks. It was a girl and the image was pretty clear. They made her turn about a lot of different ways to be sure..
I also got a great pic of her face

18 weeks with twins. I was having ultrasounds every other week with my OB, but the twins never cooperated until then.

I did some research, and all of the internet sites that I've looked up specifically state 16 weeks is when gender can first be seen.

that's customarily extremely perplexing to justify whether what the record suggested is precise till you pick for a greater advantageous point 3-D/4D ultrasound to be sure of the toddler gender. there's a severe threat that when a female became instructed female, it became out to be a boy on the tip. yet much less threat for any different way around. 17 wks is thinking extremely ok, possibly you're able to need to have yet another one around 20 wks.

With my twin girls we could tell one at 20 wks the other we weren't sure of until birth (and I had a sono every visit). My son we saw at 15 wks and it was clear enough for me to tell. Second son 22 wks it was very clear because they used the 3-D imaging.
