It depends on what you are doing. It is better for you to wear pads, and gynecologist or sex-therapist will tell you that. Make sure you get tampons that do not contain bleach. Also, if you wear tampons make sure they are saturated before pulling them out. Of course it's not the end of the world if you don't, but for overall good vaginal health, pads are best.
If you are active, or have to be somewhere where a pad would be embarrassing or too bulky, then wear a tampon. You can always wear an overnight pad (they are bigger and have wings) to sleep, and then wear tampons during the day. This might be a nice balance. Try to get the organic or biodegradable applicator ones if you do buy them. It's better for you and the environment.

depends on what you are doing at the time. tampons if you are going swimming or wearing white. adn pads whenever you feel like it. don't just wear tampons though. doing so can cause TSS.
chaeck out the link below to read on it or read the paper that comes with a box of tampons. also don't get sented. you could get irritated by the fragrance that is in them and that's not fun

There is no right or wrong answer here. It really is personal preference. I prefer tampons because I feel I can still do everything I did before without having having to worry about the clumsiness of the pad or people seeing it through my pants.

Tampons when active, so basically i use em during the day when im on the go, where as pads i use them when i am sleeping because of the fact that we need to change our tampons every 4 hours or so. How can you change your tampon at night if you're sleeping. gross!!!!!

Tampons even with the small risk of TSS, but as with everything in life its up to you to figure out what is most comfortable to you. Pads feel like diapers to me and the thought of all that blood rubbing up against my body (ewwwwwwwww). And well tampons don't leak, which is awsome. =D

tampon's if you don't want the chanse of leaking.
Pad's when you wanna take the chance.
p.s. Wear pad's when you sleep cuz you gotta change the tampon every to hours unless you are a short sleeper

Defintely tampons but i wear a pad to sleep cuz u don't want to live a tampon all night .
