tuck the bottom end of the sheet under the mattress under the pillows, then fold it so that the "top" end goes on top of the pillows.

When you put on the top sheet fold it to where about half way down the bed it stops fold the sides under the bed and wa la!

Fold the top sheet up underneath itself and tuck it in on the sides. It should look normal from the top underneath the comfortor, but when you put your feet inside, your legs only fit half-way in the bed.

fold them up or cut them or sew it to the height you want the sheets
