think about your own life...
as the saying goes: "In life, you have to look after number 1, coz no one else will."
(I think i lost all ability to feel guilt when i was a teenager, especially when people are actually trying to use a guilt trip on me.)
If he ruins his life.... that's his own problem.

Let him ruin it, put the guilt trip back on him, if he cares for you, he wouldnt ruin his life, and if he really loves you, then he should let you go, that is what true love is, wanting the person you love to be happy...no matter who its with.
but still let him be a man, if he can't live without you, what kind of man would he be, how would he be able to protect you, if he is melting down over you leaving him. you need to run fast and far away from him. He sounds unstable.

My sister dated a guy for about 7 years. He always threatened to kill himself if she left. Well, after 7 years she left because he was verbally and mentally abusive. He's still around to torment other women.
If you love yourself and have respect for YOURSELF, you will leave now. You have probably hung around for far too long and he's come to rely on you. Shame on him!! He has no backbone. You will always have feelings for those in your past because they are what make you stronger, wiser, etc. Move on.
Maybe give him a help hotline number of someone that is willing to really help him and won't feel dragged down by his actions.
You are strong!! You can do it!!

just go and talk with him that there are many chances of life so why waste it loving someone who doesn't even love you........explain the things that you must explain or maybe he just didn't understand what you have doing so have a really really deep conversation with him..............or if you really don't wanna be with him so just go.............or else your life will be the one to be ruined.............
