What is the question you are trying to ask? I don't think the French are jealous of the American position...why should they be?

BTW, interesting moniker you chose for yourself...do you know what it means in French?

This is such a misconception. The world is not jealous of America, it is jealous of what American people have and have the right to. American policies are what anger the majority of the world. Unfortunately, we, the American people, have gotten targeted as a result - 9/11, etc.

I have to consider America as one of the greatest societies of all time. Its achievements and contributions to the advancement of the world are second to none. Unfortunately, American foreign policy (and a lack of support for minorities - remember Katrina?) is one of the most corrupt and skewed of all time. It's a shame that we, the people, have to pay the price for it. I am glad to be an American. Just the same, I am ashamed at what American foreign policy is responsible for... and the next time I am in France, I'll be sure to tell the people not to snub Americans. It's not our fault that our government has been bought. We don't have enough money to buy it back.

Nope. They're just froggy, and tend to jump all over the place, kind of like the Muslims.
