No. Grayson is 'Son of Gray.' I guess the feminine equivalent might be close to Graywyn. How about Gwendolyn or Guinevere?

If you like, it, then it's great! It shouldn't matter what others think. In fact, my name is unisex and a surname, just like the name Grayson.

The only way you'll get a resoundingly positive response from people is if you asked about a boring, cliche girl name, e.g., Megan or Kaylie (*shudder*).

As someone who grew up with a very uncommon name, I thank G-d that my parents didn't choose something that 2,376,542,765,476 other girls had. I REALLY appreciate it now, as a 28-year-old, and people compliment me all the time. Trust me, your future daughter will thank you.

I think it is perfectly fine for a middle name. You and your family are the people who have to use it everyday and you should be the ones to like it. On a personal note, I think it is fine for a girl or a boy and I think it will be an original name for your daughter.

Graycey, gracey, graycy... may be better for a girl
Grayson is different ... to be honest with you there is nothing wrong with that name and with every name there will always be someone that doesnt like it no matter what it is...
maybe also depends on it it goes with the surname
but i think you could get away with that name... quite unique
