You dont know the exact second that the sperm meets the egg. But you can tell you are pregnant if you have missed a period or two and a HPT says positive.
Yes the egg has to be fertilzed and implanted itself into your uterus before you can be deemed pregnant. No one truly knows the second the sperm meets the egg. Why would you ask that?

There's no way for you to know the instant the sperm contacts the egg (which IS fertilization, BTW.) The medical definition of pregnancy is implantation, which happens once the dividing bundle of cells reaches the uterus and burrows into the lining. You won't get a positive pregnancy test until that happens and the most sensitive of them don't even claim they can detect a pregnancy until you are within about 5 days of your expected period.

There are so many factors that go into play. The only way you will know is with a pregnancy test. You can't find out before. It all depends on if you are ovulating, if the egg does get fertilized, the position of the egg, etc.

The sperm has to reach the egg within a 48 hour period in order to become pregnant. Anywhere from 30 min. to 48 hours.

You should be fertile and ovulating first, then hopefully the sperm will see your eggs. Good luck!

well, you have to already know that for you to be pregnant, a sperm has to fertilize your egg, if you have one ready...so re-read your question, and ask it again.

if you didn't know this, then you shouldn't be having sex
