my mom said no to it because it will sag and be trashy. how old do you haf to be not to have permission? i am too scared to have my friend do it.

Legally you have to be 18 to have your ears pierced without parental consent.
It's too bad that your mom considers it to be trashy. There are some cultures that pierce their baby's ears as quickly as 6 months, so that they don't remember the pain and they will have a better chance at keeping the holes permanant.

I know people who pierce they babies ears right after they come home from the hospital. I don't know how old you are, but they do it at the mall with the the gun and as long as you take care of them you should be fine. Although make sure you are not allergic to nickel first because that is what the stem of the earring is made of.

I always told my daughter 8. That is what my Mom and many of my friends Mom's always said. Just don't wear heavy earrings. BUT, you HAVE to abide by your Mother's wishes!!

if u go to the mall which u probably will it will be 18 or u need parental consent which u wont have...so I guess keep asking mom...If you do it behind her back you will get in trouble and she will make u take it out and guess what in ten minutes it will close up

I got them peiced as a baby and then got them re pierced at 8 and pirced my cartliage at 12 so anytime.

thats soo stupid..earing are very cassy unless you have them on your tounge.and best thing to do is just listen b/c then your just going to get in trouble and probly have to take them out anyways if your mom sees...
o and dont have your friend do it for you b/c then it will most likely get infected...

check local laws and local stores that do it. I think it is different everwhere. there may an age that you need permission.
