Maybe. I'm not sure that my answers make me look better, I just answer in a way that people would understand where I'm coming from, and so that people can use my advice if they need it. I don't think my answers really make me look better, one time I seemed mean because I told someone he was being a pushover. I don't like that feeling of being mean, but I like being honest.

no ..sometimes i answer a question cause i had the same problem in my past and i had no one to advise me or help me..it just shows that all of us are human and we all make mistakes and we all have problems and we can all use a little help..the only time i answer a question that might make me look better is when a person asks a really stupid.or ugly question ..then i get mad and say mean things too..i just like to help people if i can

While some people genuinely have past experience, etc. that motivates them to answer a question, yes -- I think many people answer for the same reason people like to hear themselves talk.

No when I answer a question it's to help not to make myself look better. I will probly never talk to you ever again and I really don't care what you or anyone eles thinks of me (nothing personal). If you like me great. if you don't then that's kool too.

not really some people are older, and have already been there done that and are just trying to help others not go through the hurts and pains that they went through, but some people have to go through it themselves just to see that somethings are true. good luck with that.

It depends on the question being asked. If it's a dumb question...hell yeah I'll answer it to make myself look better. But this question is cool....it's so random.
