The last successful random act of kindness was earlier today when I offered to grab something from the uppermost shelf of the supermarket for someone who, despite trying, could not.
The last unsuccessful, at least so far, random act of kindness was reaching out to someone I do not know and will never meet to attempt to better understand their suffering, its cause and the possibility for its mitigation or alleviation.

Well, I read in a Deepak Chopra book once, that even wishing people well is a positive action. So, when I'm in a good state of mind, driving along in my car, I imagine I am tossing magical happy/good life/healing dust at all the passengers in the cars I pass by. I think there's something to that, as I believe in conscious reality creation.
Also, I try to be as non-judgemental, gentle, and compassionate as I can be.

Last week. I paid for someone else's gas at pumping station. A gentle old man that I actually had heard of in the community - a real kind soul. He never figured it out - but didn't want him to know who did it either. He had such a suprised wonderful smile!

Gave away my nebulizer (this asthma machine) to this kid who had somekinda transplant... met the kid's parents in the hallway and they didn't have insurance. kinda talked about stuff and they said their kid was having frequent asthma attacks on top of their transplant blues. told them to pick the neb up at my place. figured he needed it more than i did. all their money was getting sucked into those transplant meds.
