Wow what a great question! Not easy to answer since it has more to do with your own opinion. I find for myself that the WHO is the greatest band ever. But the Beatles did more to change music than any other band and even their early stuff holds up very well. The Stones, well what can you say about a band that has been around for ever. The Animals is the must under rated of the ones you chose but where indeed very talented
So with all that the reason I pick the WHO is Townsend is an awesome writer and guitar player, Keith was the greatest power drummer, John by far the greatest bass player , and Roger has the voice to do balds and power, all together the sound is awesome.
