You really got to love these wingers... Lets see, oil money goes to the Arabs, so, should we cut back, or conserve on the use of oil? **** no! We trash the environment, turn down the AC, and drive our Hummers till the planet and the rest of the world does us in. And anybody that doesn't like that idea is a tree hugging liberal fag. YEAH!!!
International oil really cares where the stuff comes from. These guys don't have a clue about how this works.

In response to tapping our own oil reserves. It is a common misconception that oil produced in the United States would free us from OPEC. The truth is that the oil that is pumped from the U.S. is sold on a global market. Whoever is willing to pay the highest gets the oil. The oil companies artificially keep prices high by limiting the amount of refineries. There is definitely not an oil shortage, rather a refinement shortage. The true terrorist are the greedy SOB's that think another million or billion dollars will make their lives that much better.

Yes. Aparently the 'green' movement is a higher priority than American financial success or security. The US government has been reluctant to allow drilling our sources in many cases are nations who are not allies.

the short answer to your question is yes. If the liberal tree huggers would let us tap in to our own oil supplies then we wouldn't have to buy it from the Saudis who hate us.
