The MPRE is scaled, with each state jurisdiction requiring a different scaled score. Generally, anything over 65% correct (35 raw score) is pretty much assured of passing.

The MPRE tests the ABA Model Rules (code of ethics). The most difficult part is getting the fine line distinctions between what a lawyer "may" do versus what they "must" do or "should" do. The core rules are fairly straightforward. Learning those distinctions should help you score well.

just don't show up high or drunk and you should be fine
