PerCent of increase or decrease......Always subtract the smaller number from the larger - take that answer and divide it by the number that represents what the price was first. So.....10,500-9135=1365 then1365 divided by 10500= .13 which is 13%

1695 times 24 = 40680 then 40680 times .80 is 32544(net price) The discount is 40680 times .20 = 8136

price listed is called as marked price or list price
here, list price = P10500

price at which article is sold is called selling price
here, selling price = P9135

discount is the concession given to customer under some scheme or offer
discount = 10500 - 9135
= P1365

discount rate is percentage of discount from the list price.
let discount = d
discount %= d%

d% = d/ listprice * 100

= 1365/10500 * 100
=1365/105
= 13
d% = 13%
