Pick Chase or Evan. Seth is asking for trouble. I'm married to a Seth and also teach and you really don't meet any calm Seths.

Absolutely NOT Chase!!! It sounds like a pet's name.

Seth is best one there. He's sure to not have anyone else in his class named Seth. Evan is good too.

Hi happy Mom...here're all the information about all of your chosen names and your first son's name too...

SETH (1)
Gender: Masculine

Usage: Biblical, English

Other Scripts: שֵׁת (Hebrew)

Pronounced: SETH [key]

Means "placed" or "appointed" in Hebrew. In the Old Testament he was the third son of Adam and Eve, and forefather of the entire human race

SETH (2)
Gender: Masculine

Usage: Egyptian Mythology (Hellenized)

Pronounced: SET, SAYT [key]

From Σεθως (Sethos), the Greek form of Egyptian Sutekh or Set, which possibly meant "pillar" or "dazzle". Seth was the evil Egyptian god of chaos and the desert, the slayer of Osiris. Orisis' son Horus eventually defeats Set and has him banished to the desert.

EVAN
Gender: Masculine

Usage: Welsh, English

Pronounced: EV-an [key]

Anglicized form of Iefan, a Welsh form of JOHN. It can also be used as a short form of EVANGELOS.

CHASE
Gender: Masculine

Usage: English

Pronounced: CHAYS [key]

From a surname meaning "chase, hunt" in Old French, originally a nickname for a huntsman.

SHANE
Gender: Masculine

Usage: Irish, English

Pronounced: SHAYN [key]

Anglicized form of SEÁN

Hopefully I can help you understand all of your chosen name. Happy choosing and take care...

I like Evan; I like it because your first son has a single syllable name, and I think having a 2 syllable name for the next son makes for a nice rhythm when you say them together :)

Plus our runner-up name for my youngest was Evan (we went with something else in the end)

I think Chase is a very cute name. It fits well with Shane if you say it out loud. Try saying it out loud as if both boys were in front of you. Congrats!
