Confidence, self-esteem and usually they need to be assured that they are special because one of two reasons is, they never recieved affirmation as children or they recieved to much affirmation. The way to change this is my changing their conversation away from themselves and not paying so much attention to it because if you do; them you are only reinforcing her self-centeredness.
