On the sole of my heel (along the outter edge) my skin is hard and broken in to many cuts. I believe I got it from walking on cold surfaces barefoot. Now when I press on it, it hurts.

I've tried Lamasil AT for several weeks but it didn't get any better.

I have dipped my foot in hot water and then cleaned it off with a razor but it keeps returning.

Use Lotramin AF.
Use a pedicure file to sand off the rough skin after you shower or bathe. You will probably have to do this frequently. Once the tough skin is removed, the splitting will stop and the fungal infection will have less to grow on.

You need a good pedicure and moisturizer.... that's all !!
And maybe moisturize before bed and wear socks to maintain the lotion or oils.
Going bare foot can cause this very quickly.
No need for the Lamasil at all , just remove the dead skin an quickly moisturize.
Good Luck !!

sounds like athletes foot, if the Lamasil AT isn't working go to a podiatrist, they can prescribe something stronger.

It doesnt sound like a desease to me. Just rough, dry, cracked feet! lol. Just go to the store and look for specific lotions for dry and cracked feet.
