Yes, It is. I myself went to seven different elementary schools.
the key is not to be shy and try to get to know people. If you have questions dont be afraid to ask someone near you. Get involved.

I would be more worried about the way I type my thoughts into print, than I would about going to a new school, if I were you. Okay, now down to business. This is what I do sometimes, when I am scared. I pretend to be what I want to be, and somehow I become that person. Example: I was hired to sing and play guitar at a modeling school graduation. Come on, my left leg weighed more than the graduating class!! I pretended to be confident and anxious to go on...you know, ready to knock 'em dead. The person performing just before me, sang opera and had a pianist flown in from New York to assist her! I didn't try to match talents. I didn't try to do something that isn't me. One of the things I do well is comedy. SOO, I ended up singing an old, old song by Sophie Tucker...."Nobody Loves A Fat Girl." All the skinny models loved it and a few others were in hysterics. The deal is this....I didn't try to be someone that I am not. I was true to myself and I had a BALL, that night. Honest. Just be yourself,sweetie. They'll love you.

I grew up in CT, then moved to GA, and now live in San Diego. It is hard not to be shy, but it is important to talk to people. You should try joining a club/sport or just join in a conversation maybe talk about whereyou used to live, or ask others what they do for fun in the new place.

I have been to a lot of different schools. I was not scared, it is fun to make new friends. Plus if there is something you wish was different about yourself you can always change it because no one knows what you are like!
